Food for Thought – Just when I was getting used to yesterday, along came today.

Just for Laughs – A man went into a pet store to buy a parrot. He noticed that one of the parrots had a red ribbon tied to one foot and a blue ribbon tied to the other foot.
Customer: Why does that parrot have ribbons tied to each of its feet?
Salesclerk: That is a very special parrot. He was trained to talk by pulling one of the ribbons. If you pull the red ribbon, the parrot will recite Psalm 23 from the Bible. If you pull the blue ribbon, the parrot will recite the Gettysburg Address by Abraham Lincoln.
Customer: What happens if you pull both ribbons at the same time?
At this point, the parrot screeched, “I will fall off my perch, stupid?”

Listen up all balloon volleyball players! We didn’t have enough players this month to play. I know things come up so you can’t be here to participate. We set aside the second Thursday each month for balloon volleyball. Come join us next month on June 12 for lunch and then stay and play balloon volleyball. It is fun.

Bingo on Monday had 24 players waiting to yell Bingo-Bingo. The secret prize was won by Margaret Edwards. The blackout amount of $54.57 was won by Joyce Clark.
