Spotlighting Seniors

Food for thought – The shortest distance between two people is a smile.

We filled up 5 tables with pictures of everyone’s children.  That was our way of celebrating Mother’s Day. Way to go!  I hope it was a happy Mother’s Day for all.

Our MOW breakfast is Saturday the 18th from 8-9:30.  Our menu will be scrambled eggs, ham, sausage gravy and biscuits.  Come join us for good food and spend some time visiting with friends.

I am late giving this next Thank You.  Better late than never.  A big thank you to the Rotary Club for their generous donation to our MOW program.  This was done on April 22.  Sorry for being so late with this acknowledgment.

Check out our exercise room.  There is a new coat of paint.  This was done by St. Josephs youth group under the direction of Mark Jones.  All supplies were donated by Catholic Life Insurance.  A big thank you to all that helped.

Just for laughs
A guy walks into a hardware store and says, “I want a chain saw that will cut down ten trees in an hour.”  So the clerk sells him one.

The next day, the customer comes in, upset.  “This chain saw cut down only one little tree in an hour!”

The clerk says, “Let my take a look.”  He pulls the starter rope, the saw roars to life, and the customer screams, “What’s that noise?”
