Submitted by Particia Lowery (iPhone)
If Eric had not taken the stride of walk run at some points, he would have been at the exact spot of the bombing at the Boston Marathon.
His time was 4:15. This was his third marathon – he’s been running about 10-12 years- is a member of the West Texas Running Club. Eric is a 1989 graduate of Slaton High School (valedictorian). Food for thought – Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.
Last week was a quiet one here at the center. This week is shaping up to be the same. Watch out for next week- “It’s Party Time!” Why not plan on joining us for some fun! We are planning a pot luck-game night to be held on Thursday April 25th. This is a night to get together and have some fun. Come join us for good food and lots of fun. It all starts at 5:30 p.m.
